The Faculty of Art and Design aims to educate creative, productive students with a sense of social responsibility. The definition of art and design concepts is constantly being renewed and changed depending on social and technological developments. The globalizing world, the widespread use of information and communication technologies, increasingly complex products and services, increasing competition, and the diversification of lifestyles have expanded the working areas of art and design. The curriculum takes into account developments in the world; course contents are designed to adapt to these changes.
There are elective courses to guide students towards interdisciplinary studies; double major and minor programs to broaden their career opportunities. In addition, within the scope of Erasmus, students are offered the opportunity to study and do internships for a certain period at our partner universities.
Art and design is not just a field of study; it is a way of life. Our main goal in our faculty is to create an environment where students can experience this way of life with our workshops and studios, technical equipment, academic staff, and guest lecturers from the business and art world.
