About the Department

Being a product of cultural and historical structures constituting the social life, art and design have grown more important in recent years. Accordingly, there is a growing need for the concept of interior design. In today’s world, men prefer to use functionality, technology and aesthetics together where they live; and they develop and use original design for their traditions and customs. This program is designed to meet the need for professional man power with occupational competency to be employed in field of interior design at present, when consumers’ requirements are constantly changing and competition has reached a more intensive level.

Fields of Employment after Graduation

The graduates of the Program of Interior Design can work as designer at private and public institutions, or they can act as consultant at the same institutions. Furthermore, they can be employed in fields where every kind of interior design and immediate environment planning is conducted, and they can answer for the need for projecting and visual presentation in field of design with computer.

About the Courses

The syllabus of the Program of Interior Design consists of courses containing information that can be used in every stage of working life. Towards this end, it contains a rich content, including such courses as Technical Drawing, Computer-Assisted Design, Interior Design, Basic Perspective, Tiling Methods and Ergonomics. Besides them, our students are provided with the chance to do internships and follow vocational practices during their education.
